VIBE International
Dance Competition 2025
Gold Medal — Children Professional Category
This production represents Fajnorova Ballet Academy’s most recent international competition success.
For the 2025 VIBE International Dance Competition, Dagmara Fajnorová created an original full choreography inspired by Les Sylphides by Frédéric Chopin. Rather than reproducing traditional versions, the work was entirely re-imagined with a newly developed dramatic structure and narrative concept.
The choreography introduces the character of the Poet — portrayed by her son, Filip — as the central emotional axis of the ballet. Through this figure, the production builds a continuous poetic storyline, transforming the abstract romantic atmosphere of Les Sylphides into a dramaturgically connected stage work.
The production was awarded Gold Medal in the Children Professional Category, recognizing both its artistic concept and the high technical level of its young performers.
This result reflects the Academy’s long-term focus on cultivating technically precise, musically sensitive and dramatically intelligent young dancers prepared for international professional pathways.
